In the Spotlight: Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx will set the stage for this year's BET awards that air June 24th.

This past spring, Foxx kickstarted the Fox game show, Beat Shazam, being the host and the executive producer of the show. This show, however, does not even begin to cover all the places that we have seen Jamie Foxx.

We can start with his singing and songwriting career. While his songs are what we now consider throwbacks, we can still appreciate Foxx's feature in Kanye's "Slow Jamz," or his own songs, like, "Blame It," ft. T-Pain.

He played as Ricardo Tubbs in the TV series, Miami Vice, that aired in 2006.

And obviously starred in all of our favorite films, such as Django Unchained, Ray, Horrible Bosses, Annie, Law Abiding Citizen, White House Down, Collateral, and so many more.

This man of many talents' last time hosting an award show was in 2009, just a few days after Michael Jackson died. Glad to have you back on stage again, Mr. Foxx!
