Maddie Meyer Getty ImagesThis is probably a smart move for Massage Envy OR they have been 'strongly advised' to come up with a plan to guard against future sexual assault allegations. According to CNN, the national massage chain says it will beef up its background checks for massage therapists and help customers report to authorities when there is some misconduct. Ummm - you think? (in my sarcastic voice)
All this after BuzzFeed reported than more than 180 people filed "sexual assault lawsuits, police reports and state board complaints against Massage Envy spas, their employees, and the national company.
Ooo-ooo. Sounds like there's alot more going on than 'massaging'!
