"House of Cards" Final Season Moves On Without Star Kevin Spacey

If you're a "House of Cards" fan like me, you'll be relieved to know that Netflix has decided to move forward with the final season of "House of Cards". But the not-so-good news is it'll be without Kevin Spacey, that's according to CNN.

Now, how in the world will that happen?

Here's the deal. Production on the sixth season, eighth episode was put on hold after sexual misconduct allegations again Spacey. But now the word is production will actually resume in early 2018. All the trouble for Spacey began after actor Anthony Rapp was the first person to make allegations against Spacey.
Rapp says he was 14 years old when Spacey made a sexual advance toward him at a party back in 1986.
Days later, production on "House of Cards" was halted. Then members of the shows production staff started coming forward making other sexual harassment allegations against Spacey. Netflix had enough and cut ties with Spacey. "House of Cards" producer Media Rights Capital also suspended the actor last month.
Well, as it stands now the decision to end the series actually pre-dated the allegations, so now "House of Cards" writers have been racing against the clock to find a new direction for the final season - and write it WITHOUT Spacey.
Good luck with that!
