Well, you can't say the Grammy's next year won't have any color? Just about all of the top nominees are from the hip-hop or R&B musical genre. Jay-Z is topping the list of Grammy nominees with 8 nominations, including Album of the Year for his latest project "4:44".

Hip-hop's Kendrick Lamar is another top Grammy contender getting 7 Grammy nominations for his "DAMN" album. And we can't leave out Bruno Mars who has 6 nominations.

And in case you missed it, rap star Drake did not submit his "More Life" collection of songs. He didn't say why.

The 60th annual awards will be broadcast from Madison Square Garden on Jan. 28. It'll be the first time the Grammy's will have been in New York in 15 years.
