10 Of Eminem’s Best Collabs For His 45th Birthday
Happy Birthday to the irreplaceable and untameable Eminem!
Out of all of Eminem’s catalog, some of his best work resides in his collaborations. Paving the way for rappers of different races, Eminem has made a legacy that cannot be compared and is known as one of the fastest spitters of our generation. Today, we will take a look at some of our favorites in honor of the poet himself.
Oh yeah, and safe to say, none of these lyrics are safe for work.
Eminem & Dr. Dre – “Forgot About Dre”
With his advocate, Eminem throws down on a track in his young age, and it became one of Em’s classic hooks that any real Shady fan knows.
Eminem Feat. Nate Dogg – “‘Till I Collapse”
Though this isn’t the real video for the track, Eminem’s “‘Till I Collapse” was one of Em’s strongest inspirational tracks that he’s ever dropped. If you can listen to this song and not think that you can conquer the world, somebody goofed. The departed Nate Dogg, may he rest in peace, was a multiple-offending collaborator with Shady, and he makes the list once again later on.
D12 – “Purple Pills”
Though D12 was actually a full group, Eminem lead the pack and made one of the coolest joint tracks. Obviously, the unedited version is full of controversial lyrics, but honestly, the “Purple Hills” version sounds so whack in comparison.

Though the original track featured vocalist Dido, the biggest shock came when Elton John joined Slim Shady on stage. Considering all of the lyrics that Em had in the past about gay people, it was a turning point in history and remains one of the best live performances out there.
Drake Feat. Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne and Eminem – “Forever”
Though Eminem’s verse isn’t until the end, his verse happens to be the strongest, so the song goes out on a high note. Unpopular opinion, I just wish this video wasn’t a LeBron montage.
Eminem Feat. Rihanna – “Monster”
Em’s most recent offender of multiple collaborations is Rihanna, who he even went on tour with a few years back. The pair do make a great #1 hit.
Eminem Feat. Nate Dogg – “Shake That”
There’s something iconic about this dirty bit, especially with Nate Dogg’s deep voice hitting “3 to the 1 from the 1 to the 3, I met a bad b****h last night in the D.”
Eminem Feat. P!NK – “Won’t Back Down”
Of course, the big news recently was that Eminem and P!NK did a collaboration for her new album. The song “Revenge” just doesn’t pack as much of a punch as Em’s ‘Recovery’ track with her called “Won’t Back Down.” She sang the chorus only, but it was A1.
Nicki Minaj Feat. Eminem – “Roman’s Revenge”
Off of ‘Pink Friday,’ Nicki Minaj landed her place in the industry and stuck it for time, and the contrast between Nicki’s flow and Eminem’s show how much Nicki and Em can both hold their own and move quickly.
Eminem Feat. Sia – “Guts Over Fear”
As time has moved on, Eminem’s collaborations have stretched more into the pop genre, but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing by any means. I think personally that Shady branching out has made him a stronger artist, and at the end of the day, collaborations like this one shows his growth.
