Here's a quick bit of history for ya. The history of tacos shows the native people living in the Valley of Mexico ate tacos filled with small fish, but it was documented that the first taco feast was enjoyed by Europeans. It's not very clear, however, why the Spanish used the word taco to describe the food. Perhaps it was because the word 'ataco' means stuff or to stuff.
And while you're having that taco, you may as well enjoy a glass or shot of vodka in celebration of National Vodka Day.
In case you didn't know, vodka is fermented with substances like grains, potatoes or sometimes fruits or sugar.
Traditionally prepared vodkas had an alcoholic content of percent by volume. In the United States, products sold as vodka must have an alcoholic content of 30 percent or more.
