If you are one of the those Starbucks junkies who heads to Starbucks online store to get some of those last-minute Christmas gifts, you're probably not too happy about the coffee company's latest move. They plan to close its online store and will put focus on its thousands of store locations and its app.

For those who don't know, the online store was where coffee lovers and others would go to buy coffee essentials like blends, teas, mugs, tumblers, pressers and espresso machines. This isn't too shocking news as Starbucks announced back in August that it was going to shut it down on Oct. 1. The site started offering a 50%off clearance sale.

The decision is part of the company's effort to focus on customer experiences in stores and purchases through its growing mobile app. The app, by the way,  makes up 30% of all transactions in the U.S.
