As if Facebook needs to be more innovative? How about the social media giant has created a new virtual reality social network? They're calling it Facebook Spaces at F8.
On it, you can actually create your very own avatar based on photos from your Facebook profile and spend time with up to three other people in a virtual space. You'll be able to take selfies, draw pictures with virtual pens and even fist-bump your friends.
Facebook Spaces is in a test run for Oculus Rift - that's Facebook's VR headset. The app is free on the Oculus store. And in case you didn't know, Oculus and its Touch Controllers cost $598.
