If you have not heard, fast food chains Wendy’s and Hardee’s are having a hilarious Twitter war.
The two companies have been playfully making fun of each other through a series of well thought out social media posts.
The spat began when two random accounts began debating over which fast food chain is the best. One man states that the “Wendy’s 4 for 4 is a deal” while the other said that “Hardees 4 for $4 is 10x better”. It did not take long for Hardee’s to respond.

Towards the end of the online battle, Wendy’s reported that the Hardee’s Twitter account blocked them. Needless to say, if Hardee’s was education on clever fast food social media accounts, they would have known not to mess with Wendy’s.
Not to mention, they also had an online campaign to allow one man to receive free chicken nuggets for a year. Yeah, you read that right. Carter Wilkerson tweeted to Wendy’s asking them “how many retweets for a year of free chicken nuggets.” The restaurant quickly responded with “18 million”. Sadly, Wilkerson did not collect the full amount. However, he did receive over 2 million retweets in total.

The company even stated that they were shocked that Wilkerson received this many retweets! No word on if they will compromise on a quarter of a year’s worth of nuggets. We mean, the kid really tried hard to achieve his goal!
