For more than two decades, Ms. Beatrice Thompson has
been part of television. Respected across the Carolinas as a
journalist, talk show host and motivational speaker. Her
skills as a motivational speaker and media trainer have been
used by various regional and national professional organizations.
A native of Charlotte, NC, she attended the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System and later attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she majored in Radio, Television & Motion picture Broadcasting. She is currently known as an expert in motivational & media trainng.
Each weekday at 5:00 am, you can start your morning with The Front Page with Beatrice Thompson, a daily news and live interview show detailing the latest news and information. The Front Page with Beatrice Thompson is aired on V101.9/WBAV-FM and is the lead-in program for "The Steve Harvey Morning Show". Rounding out the week, Ms. Thompson brings you Straight Talk on WBAV-FM/V101.9 at 11am on Sunday.
From 1977-1999, Ms. Thompson worked in commercial television as a news reporter and anchor for the CBS and NBC affiliates in Charlotte the 28th largest television market in the nation. During her television news tenure, she covered education, government, health and consumer issues and politics in addition to hosting her own talk news programs.
