#FBF In Honor of Their Reunion : Our Fav Xscape Songs

Ever since the ladies of Xscape reconciled their differences and announced plans to get back in the studio, real R&B seems to be in the air. Classic 90s R&B music reminds you of a time when your biggest worries were your summer vacation and your high school love life.

  1. Jus Kickin It was the group’s debut single with hip hop mogul, Jermaine Dupri. Watching them sing and dance in their baggy clothes gave vibes of a female version of Jodeci. Even if you were born after the 90s era, you probably heard snippets of this song mixed with your favorite song at the club.

  1. Understanding is the song every lady wants to sing to their man, and as the song says it’s so simple as 1, 2, 3. Understanding is ironically all the ladies seemed to need in order to bury the past and be able to move forward as friends and group members.

  1. Who Can I Run To was a remake to a song originally recorded by the Jones Girl, however most people only know the version made popular by Xscape. By this time the ladies were rocking a more mature and feminine look, dancing and singing seductively in a night club.

All the members of Xscape went on to have their own individual careers respectively, but everyone loves a good reunion. Hopefully the reunion pans out and fans are able to get new music, in the meantime check out some favorites from the platinum selling girl group.
